DAC-70 3G SDI
Level A Level B Guide

I'm trying to output a Mac Mini/Xbox 1/ and PS4 HDMI 1080/60.0P into a BlackMagic ATEM 4K 1/ME via the SDI port. I'm set to 1920x1080 59.94P, but I see no video. Switching to lower resolutions like 29.97P work just fine, but my Program runs at 1080 59.94P.

I was reading online about some SDI Level A and Level B. Does this have anything to do with it?

Answer:
The DAC-70 is Level A, the ATEM is Level B, so there are known issues with 3G signals (1080P 50, 59.94, & 60).

The DAC-70 is otherwise very successful at connecting your devices to ATEM switchers, and is a popular choice for connecting MacBooks.

Datavideo uses Level A with all 3G products, as do many other companies. Blackmagic uses Level B with all 3G products, as does Sony with some of their products, and a few other companies.
